Introduction
The ENL program at South Bronx Early College Academy Charter School provides English language learners with support in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with the goal of having students grow and excel in all language modalities. Depending on student needs, ENL teachers will be present to help students reach their learning goals, both in language and core content (English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science) classes.
What does ENL instruction look like at SBECACS?

Instruction in English with support in home language.

Support in content area classes. ENL teachers will work collaboratively with ELA teachers in the classroom.
